Wow this short film from Gobelins students is amazing. I love the lack of dialogue, it's classic sci fi feel, tone and mood. It reminds me of the old Lucasarts game "The Dig". This has some great cinematography as well. I love the shot at 2:24.
Watch it in HD full screen with the music loud, it's worth it for it's haunting soundtrack, which has an 80's sci fi touch to it. Reminds me of the original "Tron" in parts, with a touch of "Alien".
Really awesome work.
Felt like the intro to something bigger... hope there's plans for more! But really good storytelling. Great pacing, really clear about what's going on.
